Veterinary services in East Anglia, with a love of all things exotic
We had a VIP (Very Important Parrot) guest staying with us in the hospital this week.
Handsome Ozzie decided he didn’t like the syringes his medicines were being offered in at home, and so had a holiday with the SEV team to ensure he was getting all his necessary medications. He made himself very much at home and welcomed his new role as part of the Client Care team: supervising phone calls, monitoring emails, and, of course, ensuring everyone took regular snack breaks.
Whilst with us he had some x-rays and bloodwork taken under a brief anaesthetic, as well as having a microchip placed at the same time. We are still awaiting his full blood test results to help us fine-tune his treatment plan, but are pleased to know he is currently doing well back at home.
